A fine wire micro-spiral winding unit was put into operation. This type of equipment is used for the manufacture of stainless steel spirals. Wire diameter 0.05–0.3 mm. The diameter of the finished spiral is from 0.2 to 1.2 mm.
The spirals are made in lengths up to 1 meter. The main purpose of the spirals is for medical flexible electrodes.
The development and manufacture of the installation for the manufacture of multi-pass micro-spirals was carried out by NPP «VEL».
